Participation and associated costs: No participation fee is foreseen. The German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) is sponsoring the event.
Participants have to register online and at the event secretariat desk. According to BUMV procedures, participants have to sign a presence list for each day of the event
VISA & Travel Arrangements
Each participant should have a valid travel passport. Passports should not expire for the next 6 months after the trip; otherwise they are not eligible for visa issuance.

The Eastern El Montazah (address: 72HF+96R, Al Amrawi, Montaza 2, Alexandria Governorate 5525018, Egypt) is recommended as a hotel for the stay during the conference.
Conference details
The working languages of the conference will be English and Arabic. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided during all sessions of the event.

Transportation
Participants are requested to organise their own transfer from and to the airport and hotel. A taxi between Alexandria and Cairo Airport costs around 60 to 70€. In case of travelling to Alexandria (Borg El Arab Airport), there is the possibility to take a taxi or Uber to the conference hotel. The price will depend on local taxi rates but should be between 15 to 30€.
Catering
During 10th &11th October, 2 coffee breaks shall be organised per day, as part of the conference. Furthermore, lunch will be offered during both conference days to all participants. Both cold and warm dishes will be available during the meal with one round of mineral water & soft drink.
After the first day of the conference, a dinner will be served for all participants.
Please inform us about any food allergies or similar in advance.
