The below-mentioned participants in the First TouMaLi 2022 International Conference held in Alexandria in Egypt on October 10 th and 11 th , 2022, entitled “Contribution of sound waste management systems to sustainable tourism and the protection of marine ecosystems”, agreed on a joint statement (link for English version, link for Arabic version) in which expectations and focus points of the conference are highlighted and recommendations and results of discussions are presented in a summarized manner.
