In January the first beach litter sampling campaign took place in Morocco. The Leibniz Institute for Baltic Sea Research is responsible for the implementation and evaluation of these campaigns and was also on site. The OSPAR method has already been successfully applied in Egypt and Tunisia to achieve comparability of data. These sampling campaigns are supposed to be established in the regions of the TouMaLi project in the long term in order to create a good data basis for further projects.
