Workshop in Tunisia 30th of June and 1st of July 2022
The electric and electronic waste treatment center in Burj Shakir was visited by TouMaLi teams in order to examine the functionality of the current process and evaluate to what extent the "Extended Producer Responsibility" concept can be applied in terms of the disposal of electrical and electronic wastes.
On the second day of the workshop, the French expert Christophe Pautrat explained a lot about "Extended Producer Responsibility" systems, the legal framework by sector, institutional aspects of the EPR system, public or private options, public-private partnerships and many other aspects.
