We are thrilled to announce our participation in the ISWA 2024 Conference, held from 16th to 18th September in Cape Town. This prestigious event serves as a global platform for discussing and advancing sustainable waste management practices.


Highlighting Synergies: PROMAR and TouMaLi Projects

Our focus at ISWA 2024 will be on presenting the overlapping strategies and insights from the PROMAR and TouMaLi projects. These initiatives are pivotal in combating marine pollution and promoting circular economy solutions in the Caribbean and MENA regions.


Panel Discussion: Community of Action Against Plastic Pollution

On 18th September, join Amarnath Munnolimath for a panel discussion from 9-10 AM in Room 2.42. This session will delve into the PROMAR project's successes in preventing over 5,000 tonnes of plastic waste from entering aquatic environments. The discussion will highlight impactful solutions and strategies for tackling marine and plastic waste.


Poster Presentation: Scaling Up Local Action Against Marine Pollution

Throughout the conference, Evita Hegmann will present a detailed poster in the Audi 1 Foyer on the 1st Floor of the CTICC. This presentation will share success stories and lessons learned from both the TouMaLi and PROMAR projects, emphasizing the global impact of localized actions in marine litter prevention.
